Stingray Fund

  • The STINGRAY FUND has been established by the Jackson Avenue PTO to help fund various programs and initiatives for Jackson Avenue Elementary strictly through 100% tax-deductible donations.

    WHY DO WE NEED IT?
    The state of California does not give our school enough money to provide all of the enrichment programs, technology, supplies or staff that we would like. The PTO is dedicated to supporting our school, filling in the gaps and enhancing the educational experience for every single child, but we need the help we can get!

    WHAT IS THE MONEY SPENT ON?
    ●  Every teacher is given approximately $780-$960 per year to fund classroom supplies and programs
    ●  Field Trips, Camps and Assemblies
    ●  Hospitality/Thank you lunches for the teachers and staff
    ●  Computers, iPads and other needed technology
    ●  Additional playground supervisors
    ●  Library and after school programs

    To avoid having to participate in so many different fundraisers, and to keep these programs and new programs running we ask you to please donate what you can.

    Payments can be made by cash, check, or credit card online. Checks are payable to Jackson PTO. Jackson PTO is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. All donations are tax deductible and eligible for employee matching gift programs.
